Sun Grant Program

Oklahoma State University proudly announces that Manoj Gyawali (Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering), Parul Sharma (Chemistry), and Bunty Tomar (Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) have been selected as recipients of the Fall 2026 South Central Sun Grant Graduate Research Fellowship.

Supported through funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA), the South Central Sun Grant Graduate Research Fellowship Program provides educational, research, and professional development opportunities for OSU graduate students conducting innovative research in biofuels, bioenergy, and biobased products.

Each fellow receives financial support to advance research projects that contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions and renewable bioproducts.

The South Central Sun Grant Center congratulates Gyawali, Sharma, and Tomar on this achievement and recognizes their commitment to advancing research that supports a more sustainable and resilient bioeconomy.
